Brazil on the Dancefloor: Vetor Magazine returns to WHOLE Festival highlighting the creative force of Brazilian artists across Europe

From July 18th to 21st, WHOLE Festival — widely known as a queer utopia in the heart of the German summer — once again transforms the dystopian landscape of Ferropolis into a portal of music, art, and liberation. And for the second year in a row, Vetor Magazine will be there, covering it all up close

This year, our focus is on the new generation of Brazilian LGBTQIA+ funk artists making waves across European festivals, bringing bold beats, queer bodies, and political power to the spotlight. Our main story will showcase the electrifying talents of Bonekinha Iraquiana, DJ Lorrany, Clementaum, Míllian Dolla, IDLIBRA, Glau, and KBRAL — names that are transforming sound and shaking the scene. We’ll also be following the high-energy sets of Paulete Lindacelva and LAZA, two DJs who embody the fierce spirit of Brazil’s queer nightlife.

One of the festival’s standout moments is the much-anticipated B2B between Badsista and Nene H — a powerful collision of Brazil and Turkey on the decks, merging two commanding voices from the global queer underground.

With six stages, countless global collectives, and a program blending music, activism, art, and pleasure, WHOLE 2025 continues to establish itself as a radical space of freedom, belonging, and experimentation. From tributes to SOPHIE, the expansion of the Cruising Village, and the return of the TRINA Tent for BIPoC communities, the festival proves that celebration and politics move hand in hand in shaping the queer future.

See you in Ferropolis — ready to dance and document with those who make music a tool for existence and transformation.

And if you missed it, make sure to check out the stories we published from WHOLE 2024, featuring in-depth coverage of the festival’s artists, spaces, and community. The celebration continues — both on the dancefloor and on our pages ૮ • ﻌ - ა
